Dr. Arron Ratner is the Easton Emergency Squad's Medical Director. He is responsible for the oversight of all medical care given to patients and is also responsible to ensure all EES personnel are properly trained. Dr. Ratner has an extensive EMS background, starting when he was 16 years old. He continued on as a Paramedic in both Pennsylvania and Delaware, and went to medical school in Israel where he was drafted in the Israeli army as a combat Paramedic. Once a physician, he returned to the Lehigh Valley and did his ER residency at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest. While there he was an auxiliary medical director for one of the region's ambulance services.
Dr. Ratner is based out of St. Luke’s Anderson, and is splitting time between the Miner’s and Monroe campus.
He commits an enormous amount of time to our organization, including regular ride alongs on the ambulance. Yes, our doctor makes house calls!
