Medical Director

Dr. Melanie Turock is the Easton Emergency Squad's Medical Director. She is responsible for the oversight of all medical care given to patients and is also responsible to ensure all EES personnel are properly trained. Dr. Turock went to medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an Osteopathic traditional internship at Mercy Suburban hospital (Plymouth Meeting, Pa) and then continued her training in Emergency Medicine at St. Luke’s University hospital (Bethlehem, Pa). While in residency, she was assistant director at a local EMS agency. After finishing her residency, Dr. Turock continued working with the St. Luke’s network at the Miners campus and helped develop Pennsylvania’s first level IV trauma center.

She has been the medical director for multiple EMS agencies in Carbon, Monroe, Schukyill, Lehigh, and Northampton counties. 

Dr. Turock is based out of St. Luke’s Anderson campus.

She is a certified Pre hospital physician and is able to ride along on the ambulance.  Yes, our doctor makes house calls!
