WILLIAMS TOWNSHIP

In March 2009, the Williams Township Emergency Squad and the Easton Emergency Squad joined forces, retaining the Easton Emergency Squad name.  The merger, which was being discussed since early in 2007, will benefit both Williams Township and Easton by increasing manpower and total area of coverage, and decreasing duplication of effort.

Residents of Williams Township will continue to receive the highest level of emergency medical service after the merger.  The Easton Emergency Squad provides both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) to residents of both areas. 

The Easton Emergency Squad’s board of directors allocated two Board positions for Williams Township Emergency Squad members to ensure that Williams Township’ population still has a voice in all decisions made.
